Why Choose Stress Control?

By choosing Stress Control, you’re choosing a globally recognised, evidence-based approach proven to deliver real, lasting results.

Learn Skills That Last

Unlike traditional therapy, where progress can fade over time, Stress Control equips you with practical CBT techniques to manage your mental health independently. By becoming your own therapist, you carry these tools forward—empowering you to take lasting control. Independent research has shown that Stress Control participants not only maintain progress but often continue to improve long after the course has ended.

Evidence-Based and Cost-Effective

Stress Control is one of the world’s most extensively researched psychoeducational programmes for common mental health problems, with dozens of independent studies published in leading peer-reviewed journals. Proven to be as effective as individual therapy but far more cost-efficient, it offers a powerful, evidence-based solution for managing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and more.

Support When You Need It

Waiting lists and restricted access to mental health support can feel like roadblocks when you’re struggling. Stress Control removes these barriers by offering instant access to support. Whether you attend a community class, join through your workplace, or take part online from home, the course fits around your life—ready when you are to take that first step towards feeling better.

"Many thanks for the wonderful course that you have put together. I consider that your series is one of the best and most engaging courses in helping people to understand and manage stress that I have seen. And, as a Chartered Clinical and Educational Psychologist with 40+ years experience I have attended multiple courses in the past, so thank you and well done!"

Dr. Fíona Kelly Meldon, Chartered Clinical and Educational Psychologist

"What a wonderful class this has been. I know there are no miracle cures, but I now feel I know what my stress is all about and I know the way forward. For the first time in many years, I see some light at the end of the tunnel. "

"I just wanted to thank you for the Stress Control course I've been working on and completed today. Everything in it made so much sense. I suffer from anxiety and depression, and I now have a clearer understanding of stress, how it affects me, and the coping mechanisms from the course. I think better knowledge is key to managing mental health issues. I took the time on holidays to complete that week's session and I'm so glad I did. It made me feel good, educated and productive. It really is like a jigsaw puzzle."
